“The program made me realize that the eating disorder is not who I am. It is a disease that I was fighting.”
Coordinated Care, All in One Place
The Healing Connection offers a full continuum of eating disorder treatment, including Outpatient Services, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) - with an additional level of care launching soon. What makes this model especially effective is that care is delivered by one coordinated treatment team, allowing for consistency, collaboration, and continuity as needs change.
Because all levels of care are part of the same program, individuals do not have to start over when moving between services. Treatment evolves alongside progress, symptoms, and goals, with shared communication across providers to ensure care remains thoughtful and aligned.
All clinicians are trained in evidence‑based eating disorder treatment modalities and bring specialized expertise to each aspect of care. Services are delivered by a multidisciplinary, on‑site team, including therapy, nutrition support, and integrated medical and medication management, allowing for close coordination and informed decision‑making throughout treatment.
The Healing Connection is a licensed New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) stand‑alone behavioral health facility, reflecting our commitment to high standards of care, safety, and clinical excellence.
It is common for individuals to begin treatment at one level of care and step up or down as their needs change. While there are many valuable treatment options within the community, our integrated model allows for smoother transitions and a shared understanding of each person’s recovery journey.
Our Behavioral Health Intake and Referral Coordinator can help determine whether The Healing Connection offers the right level of care for you or your loved one. If another setting would be more appropriate, we will partner with you to explore alternative options.
