Emily Silco, MS, MT-BC
Emily is a board-certified music therapist who received her master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy from Nazareth College. She began working with individuals struggling with eating disorders during her music therapy internship at Golisano Children’s Hospital, where she facilitated both individual and group music therapy sessions with adolescence in the inpatient setting. Emily is employed by the Western NY Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders as a music therapist providing outpatient and group music therapy services. She also facilitates an eating disorder support group through REDO. Through her experiences, Emily became passionate about providing mental health services to individuals and their families. She utilizes experimental therapies and creative practices to encourage self-expression, working toward a higher quality of life. Emily is excited to use her creative background to support individuals through their personal journey toward overall health and wellness.
