Courtney Smith, MS, NCC
Courtney earned her B.S. in English Literature with a minor in Sociology, along with an M.S in Mental Health Counseling from the College at Brockport. After graduation, she earned her National Counseling Certification (NCC). Courtney has developed her skills in the field from internships at the Catholic Family Center and the College at Brockport Counseling Center, as well as employment through Liberty Partnerships. Through these different sites, Courtney has evolved her skills working with youth and families. Her strengths include rapport building and creating a nonjudgment environment for her clients. She is thrilled to come to the Healing Connection as a Primary Therapist to help the team develop counseling programs in local schools. She feels this outreach of services to students and families will help them take steps towards reaching their goals.
